Musical Theatre Certification Information and Audition Signup

Discover Musical Theatre at Clayton State University!

The Musical Theatre Certification, available exclusively for students pursuing the B.A. in Music or a B.A. in Stage and Screen at Clayton State University, is a 21-hour interdisciplinary program designed to immerse students in the vibrant world of musical theatre. This program empowers participants to explore and refine their talents in acting, music, and dance. Guided by experienced faculty and a thoughtfully designed curriculum, students will grow into well-rounded artists equipped with the skills and confidence to thrive in the industry.

Prospective and current students are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible for the certificate, students must:

• Be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, the B.A. in Music or B.A. in Stage and Screen degree at Clayton State University (the certificate is optional, must be earned concurrently with one of these degrees, and will be noted on the transcript upon graduation)
• Sign up for one of the upcoming auditions on this page
• Successfully complete an audition evaluated by faculty from both programs
